LEVEL 1: GRAMMAR EXCEL MASTERS FOR CHILDREN OF 6-7.5 YEARS
Jolly Grammar and Phonics go hand in hand for all the future courses from here. Parts of Speech, Sentence formation, Punctuation, Tenses, and composition are taught. Extensive practice is taken so that the children develop an interest in English Grammar and master the language with ease, leading them to expert skills of reading, writing, and spelling with excellent comprehension skills and vocabulary.
Every part of speech is introduced with an easy, practical approach-based method, activities and appropriate colours. This colour scheme is used for parsing very often. This helps struggling children understand the complexity of Grammar very easily and thus, the experience is ecstatic. Jolly Grammar is a fantastic multisensory, colourful method of teaching English Grammar to young children.
LITTLE CHAMP GRAMMAR
LEVEL 2: LITTLE CHAMP GRAMMAR EXPERT FOR CHILDREN OF 7-8 YEARS
It’s the progressive level of Grammar 1. Children are taught the next level of grammar using the Jolly Grammar method and strategies by our founder Ritu Verma. Extensive training is provided on identifying different parts of speech used in sentences and paragraphs. Picture talk, Vocabulary webs, composition, and comprehension skills are further practised frequently.
LITTLE CHAMP GRAMMAR MASTER
LEVEL 3: LITTLE CHAMP GRAMMAR MASTER FOR CHILDREN OF 8-9 YEARS
Children are further taught the progressive level of Grammar 2 along with new strategies of learning. Extensive reading of stories and role plays are taken to hone their skills. Children are given higher vocabulary content, and the next Jolly Grammar programme is taken.
LEVEL 4
In Level 4, students will delve deeper into the fundamentals of grammar, building upon the concepts introduced in The Grammar 1, 2 & 3 Pupil Books. Topics covered include the classification of nouns as concrete, abstract, or possessives, as well as the utilization of the present participle as an adjective and the exploration of onomatopoeia. Additionally, students will learn about agreement clauses and independent clauses, mastering the usage of hyphens and refining their skills in sentence construction, including statements, questions, and compound sentences.
LEVEL 5
Level 5 builds upon the solid foundation laid in The Grammar 1, 2, 3, and 4 books, diving deeper into essential concepts while introducing new topics to enhance students’ linguistic skills further. Students will engage in comprehensive revision before exploring advanced concepts such as sentence walls, simple and continuous tenses, and contractions alongside the verb ‘to have’. Adverb placement in sentences, proofreading techniques, and the nuances of prepositional phrases will be thoroughly examined.
LEVEL 6
Level 6 represents the pinnacle of grammar mastery, encompassing a comprehensive revision of concepts covered in The Grammar 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 Pupil Books while introducing advanced topics to refine students’ linguistic abilities further. Students will explore the intricate world of prefixes and suffixes, with a special focus on numerical variations, alongside new spelling patterns and rules, including the versatile ‘ough’. Delving into the realm of silent letters such as ‘bt’, ‘te’, and ‘th’, and understanding schwas ‘-ity’ and ‘-ety’ will enhance students’ spelling proficiency.
